Whether or not you like Nicki Minaj’s latest single “Starships,” she is putting out a video to the pop anthem anyway! Nicki chose Hawaii as her destination to shoot the visuals for the Roman Reloaded track.
Filmmaker Anthony Mandler who is behind videos for artists such as Rihanna, Drake, and Jay-Z, tweeted Minaj “you ready to take them to another planet #starships.”
The “Pink Friday” star later tweeted: “So in addition to having 1 of my fave NY n**gaz (who I’ve never worked with) on the album, I now have a Hip Hop LEGEND. WOW.”
