Willow Smith may be starring in the remake of the 1982 hit musical film “Annie.” Her father, Will Smith, would produce the movie through his company Overbrook Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures.
Willow, who previously acted in I Am Legend and Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, would of course play the big-haired orphan adopted by a millionaire.
As you know, her current boss Jay-Z sampled the musical’s theme song on his 1998 hit “Hard Knock Life.” So, he’s been approached about handling musical duties.
