Kelis has no regrets about her decision to divorce Nas, her husband of 4 years and father to their almost 2-year-old son Knight. She sees their failed relationship as a lesson, according to MSN Celebrity UK.
“I’m not a big regret person. I’ve been divorced, and I can still say I don’t regret it. I’m a big believer that if a bad situation happens, it is a lesson that needs to be learned, just once.”
If anything, she’s enjoying her 30s to the fullest.
“My mom told us that when we hit our thirties we’d feel our most beautiful and sexy and smart, and I really do feel like that. I don’t know if it’s because I expected it or if it’s really true.”
