Simon Cowell is apparently not satisfied with his X Factor USA staff as he has given the pink slip to Steve Jones, Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.
Steve Jones confirmed news of his departure by posting a message on his Twitter account. He wrote:
‘I wont be hosting next seasons XFactor which is a shame but I cant complain as I’ve had a great time. Good luck to everyone on the show.’
A show insider told TheWrap.com that producers had expected Abdul to be the “goofy” one on the show, but “was so bad that it made none of it work.”
No one is really surprised at Nicole being let go, she was awful!! Right after the season ended, she said at an “X Factor” press conference that the job was much tougher than she had anticipated. “The elimination process has been really hard … it’s something I could have never prepared for.”
Seems like the only two on-camera personalities returning will be Cowell and fellow judge and music mogul L.A. Reid.
