Rihanna To Perform “Te Amo” On American Idol
Rihanna will be the guest performer on next week’s American Idol results show. According to Entertainment Weekly,Rihanna, who will sing ‘Te Amo’ (from ‘Rated R’) before another finalist is sent home packing.
“Te Amo,” which is taken from Rihanna’s platinum-selling album Rated R, has been a conversation piece since leaking to the internet early in 2009. The flamenco-inspired song follows the Bajan beauty as she has a little fun flirting with another girl, but has to tell her female admirer she isn’t interested in her in ‘that’ way when the girl’s feeling grow deeper.
We’re just glad she’s taking a break from “Rude Boy.”
