Son Accused Of Murdering His Parents, Allegedly Tried To Cover Up The Crime

The 16-year old son of Antonio and Dawn Armstrong, who has been charged with murdering his father and mother on July 29, may have tried to cover up his crimes.

According to the Daily Mail, the teen, whose name isn’t being revealed in the media because he is a minor, told the police during a 911 call that a masked intruder was behind his parents death, prosecutors revealed. When authorities arrived, they found the adults with pillows over their faces and shot. Dawn was dead at the scene, but Antonio died later in the hospital.

The Armstrongs were killed by Antonio’s gun, which police found in the kitchen with a note that said, “I’ve been watching you.” Yet, police were skeptical this was done by a stalking intruder given there was no evidence of forced entry and the teen had to turn off the alarm system to let them in, the Daily Mail noted.

Also, when talking to the son, investigators said the 16-year-old admitted he had recently experimented with how to silence the gun with blankets and pillows, ABC 13 wrote. Despite being charged with murder, the teen denies he was involved with his parents’ deaths, a notion that many of his family members also believe. They showed up in droves at his court date on Monday.

What Year Is It? Alabama Pastor Says He Was Fired For Wanting To Invite Black People To Church

A pastor told the local press he believes he was recently fired from Mt. Sterling Baptist Church in Butler, Alabama, because he invited Black residents to attend the church.

According to WTOK News, Pastor Jonathan Greer was unanimously cast out of his church by their board, one day after he says a deacon told him he could not invite Black people to their Vacation Bible School.

“There was pushback about where the types of children we were bringing in, and I was asked to not invite black children to VBS,” Pastor Greer told the news outlet. “This was a particular deacon that asked me, and ultimately, two deacons that had asked me not to invite black people.”

However, Freddie Moore, a deacon of the church, denied Greer’s claims, telling WTOK News Greer was let go because he didn’t visit enough church members outside of church. Moore also stressed that their church doesn’t discriminate against race. Yet, Greer doesn’t stray from his accusations, saying he spoke up because what the church is doing isn’t “consistent with the gospel.”

“This is not consistent with God’s word that we honor and give dignity to all people. That’s what the Bible teaches us, and all people are worthy and in need of the gospel, and racism denies that to a certain amount of people,” he said.

Caught! Transgender Woman Captures Her Supervisor’s Sexual Harassment On Facebook Live

A transgender woman in Hawaii was fed up with her supervisor’s sexual advances and decided to record him on Facebook Live. Now the Honolulu boss is facing criminal charges, The Daily Beast reported.

Makana Milho, 21, was ordered to clean restrooms for six days in exchange for having a criminal record expunged. The student stressed she had no idea she was going to propositioned by her supervisor, 47-year-old Harold Villanueva Jr. Milho said she instantly feared for her safety when she began recording her interaction with the city groundskeeper as she checked into community service.

“The universe was spinning. I thought he could do basically anything to me. I felt my power was stripped away from me,” she said.

According to Honolulu Star-Advertiser, on Milho’s fifth day, she said Villanueva Jr. allegedly drove her to an isolated park, pinched and slapped her buttocks, asked for oral sex, and then offered to send her home early if she got physical with him.

She secretly taped the encounter and posted it on Facebook, yet instead of getting support, she was harassed and accused of being a prostitute and leading her boss on.

“I took it down because I was getting so much backlash,” she said. “People were saying it’s my fault. People were making fun of the situation. I wasn’t comfortable being a punchline to something serious that happened to me.”

In the meantime, Villanueva Jr. has been arrested and placed on administrative leave without pay pending an investigation by the parks department, the Daily Beast noted.
