Misty Copeland To Star In Disney Live’s ‘Nutcracker’

If you’ve never seen Misty Copeland perform live on stage, you will finally get your chance in the comfort of a movie theater.

Our favorite Black ballerina will star in Disney’s Live-Action Nutcracker movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Misty made the announcement on Instagram:

Misty fittingly snagged the lead role in the dance film, marking her first entry into Hollywood.

We’re looking forward to seeing her on the big screen!
