New Jersey mom Lorna Stokes thought that her 65th birthday would typically include a party with friends and loved ones and cake, but instead it was something much bigger: Her children Shannon Stokes and Jade Mayo surprised their mama with VIP tickets for Beyoncé’s Formation Tour. Needless to say, Lorna was shocked and over the moon when they told her.

And thankfully for us, the brother and sister duo posted their mother’s reaction on social media.

‘Who?!’ she yelled at her children.

‘Tonight, right now,’ her son told her.

I know you’re lying,’ she said at one point.

‘Mom, we’re dead serious,’ the woman’s daughter said.

“We were dying laughing,” Shannon told ABC News of the video. “She’s just a sweet person, so we wanted to make sure that she had a really nice celebration — something a little bit more exciting, something that she wouldn’t forget. It’s not easy to forget that you saw Beyonce.”

They drove their mother from Jersey to the Lincoln Financial Stadium in Philly swearing their mother was going to figure it out, but she never did.

“I said, ‘We need to go kind of big for her birthday,'” he recalled. “I was expecting that at some point, she’d know something was up. Because she had no idea we were already in the stadium parking lot. At that point, she was very surprised,” Shannon said.

Jade told Buzzfeed that their mother, who has loved Bey since she was in Destiny’s Child, is “still in shock.”

“She says it felt like a dream. She just watches all the videos we took on her phone every day.”

Lorna is lucky to have such wonderful children!
