Justin Timberlake has been on a bit of a musical hiatus since the birth of his child with wifey Jessica Biel.
Now our soul brother dipped in vanilla is back with a song that’s a little…commercial. To say the least.
It feels like a jeans ad on repeat. You know those commercials when people are spinning about so excited to wear pants and you’re like…WTF it’s just pants.
It’s like a ‘back to school,’ department store jingle.
We get it’s supposed to be a feel good song, but to not hear from him in so long and be hit with a track that is corny with a side of butter, we gotta say, we’re a little disappointed JT!
We will add to this critique, that the song is for a Dreamworks animated movie, “Trolls.”
So that makes sense.
