According to Entertainment Tonight, Prince’s body was cremated after being released to his family on Saturday. The results from the autopsy will be released in a few days.

Hours after the autopsy was completed, Carver Country Sheriff Jim Olson held a press conference to talk about the investigation into the Purple Rain” singer’s death. According to Olsen, Price was “last seen by an acquaintance who had dropped him off at his Paisley Park residence around 8 p.m. on Wednesday.” He added that when Prince’s staff couldn’t find reach him the next day, they went to check to his residence and him and found him “unresponsive” in the elevator.

There were no obvious signs of trauma on the body nor they do believe that Prince took his own life, ET noted.

“We have no reason to believe at this point that it’s a suicide, but it’s early on in the investigation,” Olson said. “Prince is a very private person and I don’t think it would be unusual for him to be there by himself.”

Meanwhile, a private memorial was held at Paisley Park on Saturday afternoon where Prince’s family and friends, including Sheila E. and Damaris Lewis, attended and paid their respects the 57-year-old pop icon.

Since his death, fans of the star have flocked to his estate leaving notes, flowers and other mementos:

RIP Purple One. You will forever be missed.
