Every Black American was up in arms about Joseph Fiennes, a white man, being cast to play Michael Jackson in the new TV movie, Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon…except Stacey Dash.

No surprise here.

“BRAVO!” she wrote on her blog. “I’m sick and tired of being told ‘Sorry, Stacey, this is a Caucasian-only role.’ Counterintuitively, this decision by Hollywood—which looks like a diss to blacks—is actually what we’ve been saying all along: roles should NOT be based on color.”

The actress went on to site the Broadway show Hamilton which features Black stars depicting the White founding fathers of America.

“This decision throws that white-only card out the window. They can’t look at black actors and say, ‘Sorry this role is Caucasian-only.’ Roles should not be dictated by race,” she continued. “I want to see more of this diversity and thinking outside of the box with the equality that this designation entails—this is the right track.”

Yea, too bad your stream of consciousness is anything but conscious, Stacey.

Black actors depicting White characters helps people of color because there are barely any roles out there for Black men…period.

Putting a white man in one of the few roles designed for Black men is completely counterintuitive to diversity initiatives.

But we are so tired of reading this girl. Somebody, wake her up!
