Whoopi Goldberg is not here for Stacy Trash, just like us.
The Oscar-Award winning actress weighed in on Dash’s stupid comments claiming BET reinforces separatism and Black History Month encourages discrimination. SMH.
The talk show host slammed the Fox And Friends panelist saying:
“[Black History Month is] not taught as it pertains to America. American history holds all of us — and [Dash] is right in that — but we’re not all treated like Americans,” she said. “And one of the reasons there is a BET is because networks wouldn’t take a lot of the shows that have an all-black cast.”
Way to teach her something, Whoopi. See part of the exchange below:

Viola Davis is the latest celebrity to join all the Oscar talk rumbling around Hollywood.
The Emmy-award winner told ET, “The problem is not with the Oscars, the problem is with the Hollywood movie-making system.”
She continued explaining, “How many Black films are being produced every year? How are they being distributed? The films that are being made, are the big-time producers thinking outside of the box in terms of how to cast the role? Can you cast a Black woman in that role? Can you cast a Black man in that role?”
Davis, per usual, hits the nail right on the head. It seems women of color often get type-cast, and if it weren’t for producers like Salim & Mara Brock Akil, Shonda Rhimes or Ava DuVernay, black women wouldn’t get the opportunity to play multi-dimensional, normalized women. They would be stuck in slave and maid roles.
This issue clearly goes way beyond the Oscars, and 50-year old wasn’t afraid to say it.
Will Viola be attending the Oscars then? Nope. She’s instead going on vacation. Get your relaxation on, girl.

Celine Dion mourned with friends and family at her husband’s wake Thursday.
The singer met with fans one-by-one as they said their condolences to the widow.
“The support we’ve received has been such a blessing,” Dion told People.
The service was held in the same cathedral where the couple was married in 1994 in Montreal. The wake was live streamed on many Canadian news outlets, so that those who weren’t in attendance could still pay their respect to the man responsible for Celine’s career.
A visibly shaken Celine is seen standing by her husband’s casket the entire time.
We don’t know how she is holding it together so beautifully, given she just lost her husband and her brother, but our heart goes out to her.

Mike Tyson sat down with The Daily Beast to discuss why he is probably the only Muslim-American who is here for Donald Trump.
The boxer explained that he was friends with the business mogul long before his political tyranny.
“We’re really good friends,” Tyson says of Trump. “We go back to ’86, ’87. Most of my successful and best fights were at Trump’s hotels. He didn’t manage me, though. He was just helping me with my court case.”
Aside from friendship, the heavy-weight feels there are similarities between him and the reality star:
“We’re the same guy,” he continues. “A thrust for power, a drive for power. Whatever field we’re in, we need power in that field. That’s just who we are,” he told The Daily Beast.
Okay.
Tyson continues, going into a rant about how of all the political contenders, Trump shows him the most respect, that’s why he is getting his vote:
“That shit is the real deal. Listen: I’m a black motherf*cker from the poorest town in the country. I’ve been through a lot in life. And I know him. When I see him, he shakes my hand and respects my family. None of them—Barack, whoever—nobody else does that. They’re gonna be who they are and disregard me, my family. So I’m voting for him. If I can get 20,000 people or more to vote for him, I’m gonna do it.”
So he respects you, but not the rest of America, so he deserves to be president? We say, nah bruh. Have several seats.
