Are You Feeling Fantasia’s New Single, “No Time For It”?

We most recently saw Fantasia slay her performance of Karyn White‘s hit, “Superwoman,” during the 2015 Soul Train Awards. ‘Tasia was giving us all the vocal acrobatics, rifts, runs and church-soloist-realness for which we’ve come to know and love her.

So her new single, “No Time For It,” is less than impressive. The newlywed isn’t here for the drama as she sings, “I don’t care for gossip / What they gonna say, just got off the plane / I’m strictly focused on commas and dollar signs in my pockets.”

Unfortunately, the lyrics and the message behind the song gets lost in the continuous refrain “there’s no time for it.” We get it Tasia! We don’t need you to repeat it every second of the three-minute song.

The Grammy Award winning singer recently took to her Instagram page to share that she’s working on new music which she categorizes as “Rock Soul.”

We hope Mrs.Taylor goes back to the drawing board and gives her loyal fans a ballad so we can sing our hearts out. “No Time For It” isn’t a radio single, it’s more of a filler record that you have on while you’re cleaning the house or washing dishes.

We know you can do better ‘Tasia, we’re rooting for you!
