Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson just can’t seem to stay out of the news when it comes to the dramatic details of their personal life. Weeks before the couple were married, they were involved in a physical altercation. And only 28 days after their marriage, Griner announced that she would be filing for an annulment. This came a day after Johnson announced that she was pregnant.

But according to the law, Griner and Johnson are still married, and an Arizona judge has denied Griner’s request for an annulment, People magazine reports. The annulment presumably would more than likely have kept Griner from having a battle in the courts with the pregnant Johnson, who did not want the annulment accepted. Johnson also took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the situation:

Griner had alleged that Johnson had cheated on her – a claim that Johnson denied. So it looks like the couple will be heading to divorce courts after all. The battle could be a very ugly one and with Johnson pregnant, Griner may be liable to pay child support and alimony. We’ll see how this plays out but we hope both of them will be able to find some peace of mind going forward.
