Master P made a 9-year-old Louisville boy very happy over the weekend, during a surprise visit to the kid’s house. Ki’Anthony Tyus, was shot in the leg at a local park while playing basketball, reports WDRB. After being released from the hospital Sunday, Master P got wind of the situation and went to check on him.
Master P, who is also involved in WDRB’s “Hoop It Up”, said Ki’Anthony wanted to talk with him on the phone, but he thought it would be better to meet the kid in person and surprise him with a new pair of shoes.
“I got kids in my family that’s dead or incarcerated at a young age, and we’re here to help the kids,” Master P told WDRB. “And we hope we can change this and let this be an example that we’re killing our kids, and it’s our future.”
Police have not made any arrests in connection with Tyus’ shooting, but we’re happy he’s recovering.
