Earlier this week, DC Comics debuted the new Midnight series, a comic starring an openly gay superhero, but this isn’t the first time the iconic brand has dabbled with incorporating the LGBT community in its storylines.
DC got a head start on LGBT issues many decades ago, and in a special edition of DC All Access, they break it down by discussing some of the key characters and storylines from the publisher’s history like Maggie Sawyer and Pied Piper, Terry Berg and Batwoman, Alysia Yeoh, Catman, Extraño, and more.
Hold up, Constantine was Bi? And Catman? Whaaaaaaa I bet Catman was fierce with all those muscles!
We definitely need more movies based on characters from the DC Universe!
