Ava Duvernay Recruits For AFFRM

Ava Duvernay is looking for more rebels to join the ranks of the AFFRM. The Selma director has just launched the second annual membership drive for her grassroots film collective.

The 30-day initiative runs until June 5, and membership comes with perks like access to special screenings and exclusive Google Hangouts with industry experts.

Since its inception in 2011, AFFRM has released eight films and built up an impressive roster of members, including Anika Noni Rose and David Oyelowo. Check out who else is part of AFFRM in the video below, and click here for more information about joining up!
