R. Kelly Responds To Aaliyah Biopic

While millions of other people watched Lifetime’s biopic “Aaliyah: The Princess Of R&B,” one of the main characters in the TV film skipped the viewing. R. Kelly didn’t tune in to watch the Wendy Williams production, but he did have this to say about the actor who played him.

“Listen, I didn’t watch that. Once they said they was making a movie and somebody was gon’ be playing me? Can’t nobody play me, homie,” he told Big Tigger on the “Big Tigger Show.”

“You got to know me to play me. You don’t know me, you can’t play me. It’s impossible. So why should I watch something….that’s not real? When I’m real,” he added.

Sir, we know enough.
