Rapper’s Mother Robbed A Bank?
In today’s what and what news, a woman by the name of Gail Simpson, was arrested on Tuesday after attempting to rob a Wells Fargo Bank in Florida. You may be wondering what this has to do with celebrity news, but the woman in question may be the late Big Pun’s mother.
According to NecoleBitchie, Gail Simpson is the alias of deceased rapper Big Pun’s mother Gail Tirado. “Simpson allegedly walking into the bank at around 3:30 p.m. and demanded money from the bank employee. Federal officials said she got away with an undisclosed amount of cash,” reports CBS Miami.
Pun’s family have been in financial distress since his passing. In a 2009 lawsuit, Pun’s wife claimed that they were living in a homeless shelter after spending countless amounts on to stop “Fat Joe and other unnamed parties from profiting off the deceased rappers’ music and likeness.” Fat Joe denied the accusations.
Lawd, please don’t let it be Pun’s mother.
