Raven-Symoné Shades Obnoxious Child Stars

Ya know, we’ve always had a particular love for Raven-Symoné. Outside of her playing the adorable Olivia Kendall on “The Cosby Show,” Raven has always stayed true to herself. Raven is one of the few child stars who have grown up into decent human beings. No no no…shade. And Raven-Symoné knows this.

Raven sat down with Oprah as a guest on “Oprah: Where Are They Now? where she revealed how she managed to stay out of the tabloids, despite being in the public eye since she was three years old.

“My parents taught me to keep my private life private to the best of my ability,” she said. “It’s unnecessary to go to the most popular restaurant in the world when you have a scandal on your head and then get mad that someone’s gonna take a picture of you. That’s your fault, Boo-Boo. Stay in the house.” (We wonder if she was talking about her former roommate Lindsay Lohan there? Ooop!)

During the show, OWN also claims that Oprah will ask Raven about her sexuality. But given the response to how she keeps her business private we’re not sure how much information she’ll actually divulge there. We’ll still be tuning into the show on October 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN though!

Jenna Von Oy, who you may remember as “Stevie” on Countess Vaughn and Mo’Nique show “The Parkers” and “Six” on the early ’90s show “Blossom” will also appear on the episode.
