After a messy, bitter and long process, Porsha and Kordell Stewart are officially divorced!

According to a statement, the former NFL player and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star were “able to come to an agreement and the divorce is now final.”

Kordell’s lawyer Shiel Edlin told TMZ “he couldn’t be more thrilled to get such a horrible person out of his life.”

“Porsha will now have the life she so desperately desires. We are also hopeful that Porsha will stop vilifying Kordell at every opportunity,” he said. “For reasons we cannot understand, she displayed a reckless abandonment for anything close to the truth over the last eight months.”

Edlin went on to say that Porsha will go back to her maiden name of Williams.

“She previously stated she was keeping Kordell’s last name, which made Kordell very concerned about the damage it could cause. However, she reconsidered and decided to restore her maiden name, Williams. Kordell now believes he can restore the Stewart name and brand, for which it has been known through many generations, one of character, integrity, honesty and truthfulness.”

During a previous interview with Hollywood Life, the 32-year-old beauty said she’s ready to move on and put the past behind her.

“I put 100 percent into the relationship and I’m proud of myself for standing in the storm. And for being strong and still being that wife that I was,” she said. “I don’t know him right now. I don’t know the man who filed for divorce. I haven’t spoken to him in a very long time. I don’t know him but I do know Porsha, now.”
