1. NATION’S FOOTBALL CLASSIC IN WASHINGTON, DC

Since 2011, the Classic has featured Howard University and Morehouse College, two of the nation’s most prominent HBCUs. Students, alumni and supporters from around the country are invited to come together in Washington, DC to celebrate the pride, pageantry and energy of black college football with a weekend filled with education, fun and entertainment for the whole family.

2. NATIONAL BLACK MBA CONFERENCE & EXPOSITION IN ATLANTA, GA

September 16, 2014 – September 20, 2014

The National Black MBA Association Annual Conference and Exposition is one of the largest professional development and job search events. Each year, the event attracts more than 9,000 attendees. Sessions are held on topics including: career, education, entrepreneurship, lifestyle and leadership.

3. NEW YORK URBAN LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLASSIC IN EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ

This year’s Classic will feature Howard University vs. Morgan State University. Their football teams and marching bands will battle it out at MetLife Stadium in true HBCU fashion! The Football Classic benefits the Whitney M. Young, Jr. Scholarship Fund and the educational programs of the New York Urban League.

4. CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS FOUNDATION LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE IN WASHINGTON, DC

September 24, 2014 – September 27, 2014

The premier gathering of African Americans, cultivating engaging policy discussions on issues that impact black communities around the world. This four-day conference features more than 70 policy sessions, a national town hall, a job and contract procurement fair, the annual Prayer Breakfast, the Phoenix Awards Dinner and much more.

5. ATLANTA FOOTBALL CLASSIC IN ATLANTA, GA

Presented by 100 Black Men of Atlanta is one of the nation’s largest Black college football games pitting North Carolina A&T University Aggies against South Carolina State University Bulldogs on the gridiron. The event is also 100 Black Men of Atlanta’s largest fundraiser for its mentoring, academic support and scholarship program, Project Success. But the Classic is far more than just a game between two fine Black colleges, it’s an HBCU and an Atlanta tradition!
