Nicki Minaj dropped a snippet of her video “Pills N Potions” this morning and she looks freakin’ great, the best we’ve ever seen her…but, we’re scratching our heads after realizing Nicki’s lead man is rapper The Game.

In case you aren’t familiar with the Compton emcee’s reputation, he is known to be quite disrespectful toward women. There was that time he spit at a female fan, the time he embarrassed a female fan on stage by talking about her gut and who can forget about the domestic violence allegations against him by ex-fiance Tiffney Cambridge. She allegedly suffered a a broken nose and injured eye socket. Game denies her claims. Not very Nicki-like.

Aside from Game appearing in the clip, a freakishly large Pez dispenser is involved. “Pills N Potion” is very Miley Cyrus-esque and a different look for the Barb. It’s a bit odd, but we admire her ability to take risks.

Nicki stopped by “Good Morning America” to drop off the Diane Martel-directed visuals and talk about her upcoming album “The Pink Print.” “I really wanted to experiment with the third album, but I wanted to still marry my old energy with a new sound. I think Pills N’ Potion does that,” she said.

Nicki, who has already begun to build her massive empire, wants to be a mogul like Jay Z. “I just want to be similar to all the other rapper-turned-moguls that came before me,” she said. “I want to kinda do it like the boys.”

Nicki has yet to announce the album release date because she doesn’t want to fans (myself included) to get too anxious, but says it will be out this year.
