In Her Shoes: A Day In The Life With Dance Theater of Harlem’s Chrystyn Fentroy
The Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) is celebrating its 45th anniversary season and we couldn’t be more proud of the company. Since 1969, Black ballerinas have honed in their skills and passion through the Theatre’s rigorous ballet program. Back only in its second season as a touring company, since shutting down in 2004, Dance Theater of Harlem looks strong youthful and full of promise. Tomorrow night curtains open for the 2014 Spring season which runs at Jazz at Lincoln Center from April 23rd to April 27th. #TeamBeautiful spent the day with rising star, Chyrstyn Fentroy as she prepares for opening night.
