Myeisha Essex is in love with all things pop culture, thanks in large part to her hometown. This Los Angeles native has an encyclopedic knowledge of the entertainment industry and she loves a good trivia game. She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies from Bennett College for Women and her master's from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. “I’m in the studio,” she said. “I’m working on a song that is amazing and it speaks to my past relationship and it’s gonna be released really soon.”
“It will be about five songs. I’m not gonna really jump all the way out there because these are coming from my heart,” she added. “I’m not gonna put too much on myself and say 13 [tracks]… a whole album.”
