The holiday season has come early this year thanks to Mary J Blige.
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul recently dropped her rendition of Donny Hathaway’s classic, “This Christmas,” the first single from her upcoming album, A Mary Christmas.
The new project, set for an October 15th release, includes Christmas classics like “The First Noel,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” and “The Christmas Song.” She also has duets with Barbra Streisand, Jessie J. and The Clark Sisters.

Jennifer Hudson Teams Up With Pharrell and T.I. For New Uptempo Track
Jennifer Hudson’s new song makes us want to get out on the dance floor and two-step the night away!
“I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel),” featuring T.I, is a Pharrell-produced record with the perfect mixture of disco and soul.
During an interview with Angeleno Magazine, the singer revealed that most of the songs on her third studio album, due in stores early 2014, have an upbeat party vibe. “This record is not about me playing a part or me as spokesperson,” she said. “Should I give away the title? Let’s just say you’re gonna get Jennifer-ized.”
“What we’re doing feels so right that I never want to go home,” she added. “My sister and my manager will be sleeping on the couch while we work until 4 or 5am.”

Justin Timberlake Sings About A Bad Breakup In New Song
It’s almost time for Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience Pt 2. to hit stores, and honesty we can’t wait to hear his new music.
To feed our hungry appetites, the blue-eyed soul singer released the album’s lead single, “TKO,” on his website this week.
“It cuts right on my eye, yeah it hurt, won’t lie/ Still can’t see, think I saw you with another guy,” he sings in the seven-minute song about a bad breakup. “Can’t fight, knocked down, then I got over you/ Can’t fight no more, you knock me out/ What am I supposed to do?”
“Baby, now I really know what we’re fighting for,” he continues. “This rematch sex is amazing/ But nobody wins if somebody’s heart is slow.”
According to Billboard, “The 20/20 Experience” is currently the best-selling album of 2013, and the first body of work to go double platinum this year.
