What is Porsha Stewart’s occupation? Porsha Stewart is a reality TV star known for her stint on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Porsha joined the cast in 2013, some two years after marrying former NFL star Kordell Stewart. Prior to becoming a “Real Housewife,” Porsha worked as a model and dancer, and in the spring of 2013, not long after she and Kordell announced plans to divorce, she signed on for an acting role on the TV One sitcom “The Ricky Smiley Show.”

Porsha Stewart’s occupation, then, is somewhat fluid and flexible, as is often the case in these crazy days of reality TV. In addition to modeling and acting—in 2012, she appeared in the stage play “I Do, Maybe?”—Porsha is a philanthropist, and on her website, she explains that her mission centers on a “key to giving,” and that she aims to focus on “health care, kids and local communities,” among other issues.

Porsha Stewart’s job also involves courting controversy, and in May 2013, rumors began to spread that she’d faked her divorce with Kordell Stewart. Why would she do such a thing? According to gossip reported by Perez Hilton, Porsha had not been hired for another “Real Housewives” season, and in order to stir up drama that might keep her on the show, she concocted the split with her former Pittsburgh Steeler hubby.

Stewart denied the rumors, doing so with such poise and assuredness that one suspects she might one day have a career in politics.

“It’s just crazy. I mean, everyday I hear just the craziest thing about this situation online,” Porsha said, according to EURweb. “For me, I just feel like that’s the worst thing to possibly do is to play with marriage. It’s already hard enough and for me, the situation is already so unfortunate, for people to say that it’s fake, that’s what hurts.”
