UPDATE: Paris Jackson Overdosed On 20 Pills & Left Suicide Note

New updates have been released about the suicide attempt by Michael Jackson’s only daughter Paris.

As we reported earlier, the 15-year-old was rushed a Los Angeles hospital around 2 a.m. after suffering an overdose.

TMZ is now reporting that the teen took about 20 Motrin pills and cut her arm with a meat cleaver. She has “numerous stitches” and will be under psychiatric hold for the next 72 hours.

According to Paris’ grandmother Katherine Jackson, she’s receiving “appropriate medical attention.”

“Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are,” Katherine said in a statement. “It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you.”

Sources say the teenager has been dealing with major depression issues since her father’s death in 2009.

In addition to her injuries, TMZ reports Paris left a suicide note. Further information on the letter’s content has yet to be released.
