You may be staring at the computer screen right now, thinking to yourself, “What is twerking” or on the other end of the spectrum, thinking to yourself “Twerking has to end.” First, let me address the crowd who doesn’t know what twerking is… Twerking is a popular dance technique that includes popping, dropping, shaking and gyrating. The term was made popular by a group of women called “The Twerk Team.” Their sexy dance routines consisted of rapid and complex booty movements that spawned copycats of all sorts. “Twerking” is now used in aerobics, at the club (of course) and some lonesome souls even twerk while grocery shopping! It is the biggest trend right now and even little boys are doing it!

However, where there is great twerking, there is the array of folks who have completely failed at it! And, what’s funnier than watching a person dance inappropriately on camera then fall? Not a thing!

We’ve compiled a list of the greatest twerking fails, including the controversial video of the father who caught his young daughters getting in on the craze. Some are funny, some are utterly embarrassing, but all of them are fails!

Here’s what twerking should look like:

And here are the FAILS:
