Sources say former contestants Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken are also close to singing a deal. Producers are aiming to create a “superstar-alum” theme to help boost the show’s declining ratings.
It’s been confirmed that season 12 judges Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban will not be returning.
Congrats on the new gig, JHud!
