It’s being reported on ThatGrapeJuice that Blu Cantrell is making a comeback to music. The “Hit ‘Em Up Style” singer hasn’t been on the scene since 2003 when she released her second album, “Bittersweet” to a mediocre reception. Blue shined on the stage in various plays, including, “Gossip, Lies and Secrets” alongside Kenya Moore and LisaRaye.

Blu released a tune called “Get The F*ck Out” via her Twitter account in 2012. She teamed up with producer, DeShawn Hendrickson–who had some work on Keyshia Cole’s “Woman To Woman” album.
I don’t know about y’all, but I want more from Blu Cantrell. She’s got the raspy voice that offers itself to soulful, yet funky and upbeat grooves. There’s so much the right producer could do with her sound. It’s been rumored that Blu’s going to be back in the studio, if she’s not already in there!
This tweet was spotted earlier this year, so now, some three months later, we should be hearing the fruit of that labor soon! Hopefully we can trust this unverified Twitter account!
