Drake’s infatuation with the Destiny’s Child song “Say My Name” comes full circle on the Beyonce inspired track “Girls Love Beyonce,” which should probably be renamed to “Drake Loves Beyonce.” Aside from the King Bey reference, “Girls Love Beyonce” sticks to the classic Drake formula of hip-hop infused R&B beats.
“I need someone that will help me think of someone besides myself/ I need someone I leave through the front door with ’cause we don’t want to hide no more,” sings Drake backed by James Fauntleroy on the “Say My Name” hook.
