Congratulations are in order for “Star Wars” film maker George Lucas and new fiancee Mellody Hobson! After six years of dating, the couple are ready to get married! A spokeswoman for Lucasfilm Ltd confirmed that they are engaged, reports HuffingtonPost.
Chicago native, Mellody Hobson graduated Princeton University and serves on the board of many corporations including the Starbucks Corporation, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., Dreamworks Animation SKG, Inc. and Groupon. In 2000 she became the president of Ariel, the the largest African American-owned money management and mutual fund companies in the United States.
