Nia Long Lands Starring Role In Tyler Perry’s ‘Single Mom’s Club’
Actress Nia Long,who recently turned 42-years-old, has just been added to the cast of Tyler Perry‘s upcoming flick Single Mom’s Club. Nia will star alongside actresses Zulay Henao and Wendi McLendon-Covey, who starred in “Bridesmaids”.

The ladies will play single mothers who are brought together by a crisis and their children’s school. Tyler Perry will play one of the male leads and as usual he’s also writing, directing, and producing his own film.
Hopefully we’ve moved on from Madea. A multi-racial cast gives room for a broader demographic. Lionsgate reports the film will open on May 9, 2014.
