There’s a lot of things I remember growing up. I carried my favorite silver purse everywhere. I was only four years old so it was stuffed with toilet tissue. The first birthday I remember I wore a purple jumpsuit, which turned out to be a bad idea because I couldn’t get it unzipped to use the bathroom. Then there’s the time I wore red lipstick on picture day in middle school – longest punishment ever! But one of my fondest memories are those with my Mother. Getting ready (whether to go or to leave) was an event for us, right down to lotioning up all my body parts. My mother swore by Johnson & Johnson products–to this day that smell obviously has me reliving my childhood.
