Mariah Carey Honored With Icon Award At BMI Awards
All eyes were on Mariah Carey, last night, as she accepted the BMI ICON Award at the 12th Annual BMI Urban Awards at Saban Theatre, for her outstanding songwriting career. Husband–Nick Cannon–was on hand to help her celebrate!

The show included all-star tribute performances from Mimi’s friends and colleagues. Fantasia kicked off her Louboutin’s to cover Mariah’s ballad “Hero” and Jermaine Dupri and Eric Benet took to the stage to show their love for the legendary songstress.
“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” producer Stevie J. also attended the spectacle. He and Mariah have worked together since the 90s!
