She’s teamed up with island native, Mavado for “Soldier Girl” just in time for the summer. The track has a lot of island flavor and is actually pleasant. Maybe this can be a win for Olivia. However, I think her biggest mistake, and we’ve seen this on “Love & Hip Hop,” is that she makes music that isn’t authentic for her. If Olivia is a the type of chick that holds it down for her man no matter what, then this song is real for her, which would make it real for us.
