Steve Harvey‘s “Think Like A Man” may have slaughtered the competition in American box offices with $73 million made since its debut in April, but over in France, it’s not doing a thing. Why? Because the powers that be have banned it from theatres because there’s just too many black folks in it! Or to let them tell it–“a lack of diversity.” *insert n*ggas in Paris joke here*

According to Global Voices, “French cinema is often pointed at for not fairly displaying all components of the country’s multiethnic population. Although the recent success of the movie “Les Intouchables,” which earned French African actor Omar Sy the Cesar award for Best Actor in 2012, caused great pride and hope among French nationals from Africa and the Caribbean, it was not to be the turning point for a deep and lasting change.” Well, how’s that for reverse racism?

The people of France want to see more diversity, however a predominantly black cast isn’t diverse enough? What sense does that make? There’s always films being made with black people that you can count on one hand and now that a cast fills the movie, France finds it to be a problem!
