Serena Williams: “My Back-Stabbing Friends Released My Rap Track”
Tennis star and sometimes rapper Serena Williams recently fielded questions on her “accidental” musical debut last week, blames the track leaking on some shady back-stabbing friends.
Serena who I’m sure is embarrassed explained herselfon Wednesday at a press conference after her victory at the Italian Open in Rome Serena stated:
“Well, I was in the studio with friends and I wanted to do something and so they said – do this. The next thing I know – that was one or two years ago – I read online that I was a rapper. So my back-stabbing friends did that to me,” she said, in quotes picked up by Atlanta Black Star.
“So if I see them, I will act like a rapper – if you can get my drift,” she said, before heading off to the studio to cut a new diss track. Just playing.”
