Blast From The Past: Brandy Meets Whitney Houston For The First Time!
Whitney Houston had a particularly close relationship with Brandy. Brandy has called her, her “idol” since she was a teenager and Whitney embraced her with open arms. This video footage shows the first time Brandy met Whitney Houston, back stage at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
Whitney, very warming, told Brandy “Where you going? Don’t you start crying and carrying on and stuff. Come here with your little pretty self.” She held the starstruck teen, told her how proud she was of her then asked “How are you handling all this?”
Whitney will be laid to rest today at noon in New Jersey.
