Tyler Perry Sued By Prisoners Over "Skank Robbers" Film
Tyler Perry Sued By Prisoner For “Stealing” Movie Idea
Tyler Perry is being sued for $1 million by a prisoner who claims he and Jamie Foxx stole his idea for their new comedic film “Skank Robbers,” according to TMZ. In the movie, Perry, Foxx and Martin Lawrence star as their famous female characters: Madea, Wanda (from “In Living Color”) and Sheneneh (from “Martin”).
Though the film is still in development, prisoner Shamont Lyle Sapp, who is serving time for robbing banks, claims it was his idea to unite the 3 characters into one film. The lawsuit says he gave Foxx and Perry the idea for the project and they cut him out of the action.
