When the photo of a fan who had Drake’s name tattooed across her forehead surfaced last week, we were in shock – along with the rest of the internet world. Despite her obvious desire to show her love for the rapper, we wondered why a tattoo artist would go through with the request.
It seems Drake did, as well. When asked about the tat in a recent interview, Drake went from supportive…to angry…to uncomfortable, all in under a minute, saying:
“i want to meet her and understand why. What happened? That’s cool, though. I feel you 100%. That, to me, is absolutely incredible. The guy who tatted it is a fu**ing a**hole, I will tell you that. I don’t f**k with that guy. F**k you to that tat artist, by the way ’cause you’re an a**hole for real and you should lose your job. You should never do tattoos again. I don’t f**k with you and if I ever see you, I’ma f**k you up. I want to talk to this girl and understand it. It’s love, it’s crazy, it’s surreal. I don’t even want to look at it anymore.”
Umm, ok?
But the artist himself said, “She was on a pretty good one when she came in, and I think by the time I finished, she was coming down, because her attitude changed pretty drastically once the tattoo was finished.” So, we can understand why Drake hates him.
