With the holiday season rapidly approaching, most of us are in the process of finalizing our travel plans. Trips are usually spoiled when people don’t prepare for their trips thoroughly. Traveling to different climates and environments can expose you to disease and health risks. No book can tell you exactly what you need for any particular country or trip, but we have come up with a few ways to keep you healthy during your travels:

1) If you’re traveling to a country that requires vaccinations and/or medications, then make sure to get those well in advance. If you happen to have a reaction, it’s best to be in your home country to recover near your practitioner. If you’re not sure of whether or not your country requires vaccinations, head to the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention website.
