October is knocking on the door! While fall always means it’s time to pull out the sweaters, fly leathers, and hot knee-high boots, it also marks the season where the major sports seasons are in full swing. You should plan to relax this weekend, put on your favorite team’s hoodie, and tell your man to move over on the couch. It’s game time and here’s some insight that will help you navigate all the action:
NFL: First it was a concussion, now it’s a swollen (and thankfully not broken) right hand. Needless to say, it’s been a hard knock life early on for Michael Vick this season. He says he’ll play through the pain this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Hopefully he can overcome and not get hurt anymore because we love seeing his fine self make amazing plays. Hello!
Speaking of injuries, Arian Foster, the Houston Texans running back and last year’s league rushing leader, will be back in the lineup. Please go Google a pic of him. Trust me, the cutie will not disappoint. Sadly, it seems that the injured Terrell Owens is doing more crying about his financial woes on his reality show these days than anything else. Will a team pick him up after the knee surgery he had a months ago or is T.O.’s career dunzo? Only time will tell. Last football note, Chad Ochocinco is the one truly looking like a non-MF’ing factor with his team in New England. He had a crucial drop in last week’s loss to the Buffalo Bills and only has five catches so far this season. Damn homie, that’s not a good look. I wonder what Evelyn has to say about this?
