Swizz Beatz Stands Up For Alicia Keys
Ever since Alicia Keys‘ Lenny Letter hit the internet, with the singer proclaiming she will be makeup free from now on, people have had a lot to say.
While on the VMAs white carpet this past Sunday, the 35-year-old continued her au naturel mission.
So, of course, a parade of both hate and praise came pouring in.
The 15-time Grammy winner took to Twitter, where she shared a selfie, saying she’s not anti-makeup:
Alicia’s husband, mega-producer Swizz Beatz, rushed to his wife’s defense, saying, “Why are you mad at someone who decided not to put makeup on their face?”
Way to stand by your woman.
