Lucious & Cookie May Get Their Own Show
Lucious and Cookie Lyon’s love/hate affair is one of the driving plot lines of Fox’s hit series Empire. And now it looks like the estranged lovers may be getting their own spin-off show because of it.
According to Deadline, during a sit-down at the Television Critics Association, executive producer Ilene Chaiken told the audience, “There’s a good chance there will be a spin-off.”
The series would make sense based on the flashback scenes of the young lovebirds, which has become common within the show’s format.

Actress Taraji P. Henson played up the tension between her character and Terrence Howard‘s character to the crowd, saying Cookie could never be done with Lucious — “not unless she kills him.”
