It’s Woman’s History Month. In celebration of women, award winning Kenyan photographer, Osborne Macharia captured some boss grannies, who he calls, “The Kenyan League Of Extraordinary Grannies,” and are now enjoying their retirement.

Osborne Macharia is a self-taught contemporary and commercial photographer and director. He’s known for his expressive photography and CGI skills.

He discovered these grannies, who jet set and enjoy the high-life with each other shortly after they landed in Somalia. Osborne explained,

“They were once corporate and government leaders in the 1970’s but are now retired, living the high life, travelling to exotic and remote areas within Africa to explore, party and enjoy themselves in exclusivity.”

From a former presidential advisor to a former minister of industry and trade, these aren’t your average grandmas. Meet these former corporate and government heads. YAS for boss women with style!

That leather garment bag that Ms. M Adhiambo is carrying is everything! I also love her oversized ring and printed ascot.

Playing on masculine style with feminine features, I’m banking on Mrs. Njuguna’s style. This former Governor of the Central Bank is playing with patterns and it looks fierce!

When you advise the former president of Kenya, of course, you look like a boss. Do you see those oxford flats?! Werk, Mrs. Were!

These grannies are everything!
