Fashion from the 90s is generally hit-or-miss, but one look that we’ll always love is the gorgeous white gown Toni Braxton was rocking in that epic theater scene from her “Un-Break My Heart” music video.

1996 was a big year for Ms. Braxton. She released her second album, Secrets, which had a lot of other bangers like “You Make Me High” and “Find Me A Man.” That same album was the one that gave her two Grammys in 1997: one for best female R&B vocal performance and one for best R&B pop vocal performance.

When homegirl got married two years later to Mint Condition band member Keri Lewis, she looked flawless in a $15,000 Vera Wang gown just like the one she wore in the famous “Un-Break My Heart” video, with $500,000 in jewelry to match!

Braxton wasn’t just a beautiful singer. She was also a trailblazer. The same year she got married, Braxton became the first Black actress to play Belle in Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast.

Oh, the nostalgia!

We can’t wait for her biopic to come out this weekend. Don’t forget to tune into “Toni Braxton THE MOVIE EVENT” on Lifetime, Jan. 23 at 8/7C!
