#BlackGirlMagic: Gymnast Simone Biles Scores A New Endorsement Deal

One of the most decorated athletes in gymnastics history, Simone Biles, has just scored another career accomplishment. The 18-year-old phenom recently announced her endorsement deal with Core Power, a protein drink company.

The 10-time world champion gold medalist will begin appearing in various “Everyday Awesome” advertising campaigns for the company. She recently posted a photo of the latest issue of Sports Illustrated which featured a two-page ad with Biles.

“When I think of why we created this product and who we created it for, there’s no better person to represent Core Power than Simone Biles,” said Steve Jones, Chief Executive Officer of fairlife, LLC, the maker of Core Power.

He also said, “The hours of training over the past 12 years have made her the breakthrough athlete that she is today, and that’s something we celebrate and spotlight at Core Power. At fairlife we believe that hard work, enthusiasm and passion pay off in the long run when it comes to reaching goals. Simone Biles personifies all of that. Period.”

Biles is currently training for the 2016 summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she’s projected to go home with the gold.

The Columbus, Ohio native is also signed to Nike.

On her new collaboration with Core Power, Biles shared, “For me to compete at the highest level, training and living a healthy lifestyle is an everyday focus for me and I’m excited to be a part of the Everyday Awesome team!”
