While we absolutely loved 19-year-old Shanice Williams in last weeks production of The Wiz Live!, we wonder if the casting director considered Jazmine Sullivan for the role?
At 11-years old, the Grammy nominated artist debuted her powerhouse vocals that would later make her a star.
In 1999, she was cast as Dorothy in her school’s production of The Wiz. Check out her rendition of the song “Home” below. Those rifts around the 2:45 mark will give you chills!
